December 2015 - It's Christmas

In December, we looked forward to Christmas Day and we remembered the gift of God’s son, Jesus.

Our activities also reminded us of the beauty of creation and the amazing things that God has done for us. We built a snowman learning that every snowflake is different, showing God’s creativity.

We showed our creativity in decorating the gingerbread men and houses.

We made a chocolate reindeer – Rudolf’s nose guides Santa every year. We should always let God be our guide.

We decorated Christmas Trees – the star on the top of the tree and the lights on the tree remind us that Jesus is the light of the world.

We made penguins – Penguin parents look after the egg and keep it warm before it hatches. Give thanks for the people who look after you.

The most translated verse of the Bible is:

John 3:16 – For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall no perish but have eternal life
